Revolutionary Student Council
The activities of the Revolutionary Students’ Council have begun at Al-Azhar, the world’s oldest Islamic university. The journey began with a prayer and iftar gathering at Jamalia Field in Darrasa, Cairo, on Monday local time. The event was attended virtually from Tokyo by Khomeini Ihsan, the convener of the National Revolutionary Council, as the chief guest, and from Dhaka by Abdul Wahed, the convener of the Revolutionary Students’ Council, and Fazlur Rahman, the member secretary.

Khomeini Ihsan called on the Bangladeshi students of Al-Azhar to acquire knowledge with sincerity and return to their country to spread the light of Islam among the people. He said that as part of Muslim nationalist politics, the National Revolutionary Council will take extensive initiatives with Al-Azhar graduates to spread Islam in the country.
The event, chaired by Saiful Islam, a member of the Central Convening Committee of the Revolutionary Students’ Council and coordinator of Al-Azhar University, was also attended by Rezaul Kabir, Zobayer Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Rashedul Islam, Mohammad Naeem, Anas Hussain, Niaz Makhdum, Mohammad Habibullah, Saleh Ahmed, Nazmul Hasan, Yunus Ahmed, Nasir Uddin, Mezbah Uddin, Zahid Hasan, Kawsar Ahmed, Nazimuddin, Mohammad Mehedi Hasan, Mohammad Tanvir, Mohammad Abbas, Saiful Islam, Ibrahim Shohan, Rakibul Islam, Abdul Al Mahi, Nur Ahmed, Asaduzzaman, Abdul Quader, Akhter Moktadir, Arman Ahmed and Mujahidul Islam.
